Kobabi BitesTASTE IN EVERY BITE
Our story

A group of food
enthusiasts, and one
stubborn idea.

That Indian fast food should not have to give up being Indian. Kobabi Bites opened in 2023 at Machhiwara, district Ludhiana, and has been proving the point ever since.

Meet Kobabi Bites

More than a fast food restaurant.

The name says what we set out to do: bite-sized servings of delicious Indian cuisine that appeal to everyone. We are a home-grown brand with an unwavering dedication to the rich, aromatic and diverse Indian culinary heritage — tucked, to begin with, in the heart of Machhiwara Sahib, Ludhiana.

Kobabi Bites brings together the best of both worlds — fast food favourites and the rich tapestry of Indian culinary heritage. We take pride in serving up a spread that leaves your taste buds asking for more, whether you are after a juicy burger, a mouth-watering wrap, a gravy with fresh Indian bread, or a quick snack between two things.

Quick, convenient and pocket-friendly, without compromising on the authenticity of traditional Indian flavours. Every item is prepared with care, using ingredients sourced fresh and locally. Fast food, we think, should be a delight to the senses rather than just a convenience.

Since 2023 the brand has grown to four outlets across Punjab, with our own manufacturing facility in Ludhiana behind every one of them.

Founder's story

Born out of a desire to share.

Kobabi Bites was founded by a group of passionate food enthusiasts who share an unwavering love for Indian cuisine. With deep roots in Indian culture and an appreciation for the diverse regional cuisines the country offers, we set out to create a culinary haven where tradition meets modernity.

The problem we kept running into was a simple one: Indian food's authenticity gets lost in mass-market QSRs and cloud kitchens. Our answer was to preserve Punjab's true flavours and deliver them in fast, scalable formats — without losing what makes them worth eating.

Our vision

Simple, and fairly profound.

To be the leading destination for Indian fast food that tantalises taste buds and captivates hearts. We aim to be the torchbearers of authentic Indian flavours while introducing innovative twists that cater to the evolving palates of our customers.

“We’re not just selling food; we’re delivering a cultural experience in every bite.”

The flavourful experience

Five things we refuse to trade away.

  • Authenticity redefined

Our menu is a curated collection of iconic Indian dishes that have stood the test of time, crafted to keep their traditional essence. From street food classics to lesser-known regional gems, every dish tells a story of India's culinary diversity.

  • Quality at its core

Great food starts with what goes into it. We source the freshest produce, meats and spices we can get, so that each bite is a symphony of flavours and textures rather than a compromise.

  • Innovative fusion

While we honour tradition, we also embrace innovation. Our chefs put a modern twist into select dishes, creating fusion items that bridge the past and the present and cater to a wide spectrum of tastes.

  • Warm hospitality

We treat every guest as an extension of the family. Our staff create a welcoming atmosphere where people can take their time over a meal — the sort of place you come back to, not just order from.

  • Cultural celebration

The venture extends beyond food. We celebrate the cultural tapestry of India through artistic elements, decor and music that carry our guests to the heart of the country.

  • Community engagement

We understand the importance of giving back to the community that has nurtured us. Through charity drives, cultural events and collaborations with local artisans, we work at being socially responsible members of the places we open in.

Driving vision, flavour and scale.

Kobabi Bites was built from scratch, hands-on, at every step. There is no external agency behind the brand — the core engine is founder-led, which is how three people cover product, people and process at once.
